Chrissy & Ben
Chrissy and Ben eloped to the New Forest for their wedding on Midsummer’s day, so romantic! Chrissy had found beautiful Fox and Hare brooches which I added to the bouquet and buttonholes as nods to their nicknames for each other.
After spending months during the winter renovating my new cut flower garden it was a pleasure to finally be able to cut lots of beautiful blooms for Chrissy’s bouquet, including Digitalis ‘Suttons Apricot, Martagon lilies, Daucus ‘Dara’, scented garden Roses, Cotinus, Oak leaves and Ferns.
I also made her a delicate flower crown of dried Hydrangea flowers, Helichrsyum, Jasmin vine and Asparagus fern.
Ben’s buttonhole used my first stems of Phlox ‘creme brulee’, unripened Blueberries, feathers and grasses.
They were a wonderfully relaxed and trusting couple who were a joy to work with. Best wishes for the future Chrissy and Ben!
